Remote Agents Description and Diagram

The Razor Predictive Dialer and Call Center Software is an entirely IP based software package. Not only does this allow for quick and easy installation of additional agents and painless expansion and upgrades, it allows administrators to treat all IP based access as equal.

Orion Communications designed Razor to take advantage of existing IP based infrastructure, so local and remote agents are treated the same by the software. For additional security it is recommended to install a VPN server and allow the agents to connect to the dialer through a VPN connection. However, once an agent has a reliable high-speed internet connection and a secure connection to a call center's network, the software treats that remote agent the same as a local agent. This works not only for agents, but supervisors and administrators as well. Additional fees from Orion or third party hardware/software vendor for remote agent setup may apply.
